Reliable Drainage Service in Seven Fields, Pennsylvania

I waited all day for service, after being told they were on site elsewhere. I then asked for an update about 1p. Received msg stating that he would call me in an hour. Never received call. Water off. Have to spend another day trying to find a plumber.

Home warranty selected this company. Gentlemen would call super late in the night to schedule appointment in short notice and not show. There seems to be another person who works for him she was pleasant. They don’t follow up with appointments and make it nearly impossible to schedule in advance. I’m not sure if they are organized with appointments but would need to be more considerate with advance notices. The guy is unprofessional and it’s hard to make out what he says.

Was assigned him through mymy warran company. He ordered a part told me i (meaning me) can install it when it arrives. It never came. Waited a full month called the warranty company they said it was delivered to him on the 21st. That was 2 weeks after it was ordered. It's now been 6 weeks and I still don't have a part. Warranty company contacted him again he gave them a horrible attitude meanwhile tracking number shows it went to his place of business. Warranty company is sending someone else out on Monday to restart the process and said they will retract payment from him for his service call fee. I Told the rep from American home shield I wouldn't recommend using him again she said trust me I won't let it happen .

While I know working through HSA is different than calling them on my own but I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. The lady that came with the guy to “look at my fridge” is the best experience I had the entire time. She tried vouching for me but the man with her was rude (thank you) and unkind not even telling me his name. I requested him not come into my home again due to the first encounter but he was send again anyway. He proceeded to be rude this time telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about and spitting tobacco into my yard. I have dogs, I have nieces and nephews in my home that can get into this as it is right outside my door. He did not even attempt to diagnose the smell coming from my fridge, he took a picture and said “nope nothing I can do.” I will ensure EVERYONE I know knows not to contact Rick Monz Plumbing. Maybe Rick is a nice guy, I would’ve loved to have him come out to my house to check my fridge and form a new opinion but against my wishes the first guy was sent again. They forgot about my yesterday so I had to take not one but TWO days off of work only for them to be an hour late today. Ah, and here’s a picture of the tobacco that was disgustingly spit into my yard.

I had this company recommended to me and I am not disappointed .I had a clogged toliet and company coming over shortly. They were at my house in 30 minutes and had it fixed very fast. I would recommend the to anyone!! Hands down on the best plumbing services around .

My home warranty chose this company. I had to reach out to Rick Monz after 3 days because I didn't hear anything from them. Got in touch with the gentleman and was told he would check the schedule and call back in the afternoon with a time/date to check the leak. This call was on a Friday. Never heard back Friday or Monday. Called again Tuesday, was told Wednesday. Wednesday time came and went with no show no update. We had to call again, kept saying he would be here in X amount of time and wasn't. Finally showed after 5. Looked everything over and literally told us that without the home warranty he would normally charge $575 with labor and everything. He never did call me back with the invoice information like he said he would. However, he DID go back to my home warranty and tried to charge over $1000 and they would not pay more than $500 for a plumbing repair job. The rest I would have to pay out of pocket. Needless to say I called another plumber to come out. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone. Super unprofessional and shady! If I could give less than one star I would!

Good service friendly reasonable price

My hot water tank went on the fritz last month. Rick came the same day and recommended installing a new tank instead of trying to repair the old one; this turned out to be sound advice and he had a new one in the next day. He also recommended that I down-size to a 40 gal. tank since it's just my wife and me living in the house, and that saved a couple hundred bucks. Rick will be my go to plumber in the future.

Friday night at 5 PM, I found my water heater leaking. I called my home warranty company and after 40 minutes, I had an appt. set for Monday. No hot water all weekend? I called Rick and he took all my Information and found it had a manufacture warranty on it. He called and made all the arrangements to pick a new one up and return the old one. He arrived Saturday afternoon and about an hour later he was packed up and ready to go. He did all the leg work and made me feel like a priority. Very professional and I will recommend him to all I know. Thank you again Rick

Well I met Rick and His work Crew where very professional and knew exactly what they were doing and they definitely were on time they came in the time frame they gave me and they were able to fix all my problems including my painting issues I was having in my bathroom from the paint peeling and he also told us what we needed to do to fix the problem after they paint we needed a exhaust fan Installed in the bathroom and he also knew that the last owners of the home used the wrong paint for the bathroom they also told us why our toilet was leaking because it wasn’t properly aligned I have No complaints at all I would recommend This company to everyone if they want to deal with a Honest upfront Company that has experience and the price is right There straight to the point and will show you what the problem is They will even tell you how to fix it on your own I give them

Very quick to come out and replace my garbage disposal for me.

We had a gas meter line that had rusted out this morning, resulting in the gas being shut off to our house. Being a weekend, no one was able to replace the line until Monday. However, when I called Rick Monz, he went the extra mile (literally) to help us in a time of need. He went out of his way to track down the part we needed and had his team to our house within 30 minutes. He was friendly, accommodating, and very professional. It’s 30 degrees outside and I’m sitting here right now writing this review in a warm house thanks to Rick and his crew! I highly recommend his services!

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a contractor. They did not come out when my hot water tank was leaking the day they were called, so it continued to leak over night. When they finally showed up the following day, there was an older man with a younger girl and the older man couldn’t even walk up steps. So we had to assist with getting the tank inside of the house. A younger male then came to the house to assist. They made a complete mess in the room the hot water tank was in and didn’t even make an effort to clean up the mess they made. About 5 minutes after they left, the top of the tank started leaking. Went to clean up the water and realized that someone took a shirt out of my dirty clothes hamper to clean the grease and plumbers glue off of the newly installed pipes. When we called the older male to tell him what was happening he lied and said that they didn’t use glue, they used tape. Even though there is glue all over the new pipes. He then told me us he would come back and give us $30 for a $10 shirt. Their lack of professionalism is absolutely appalling.... I wouldn’t recommend this company to ANYONE!!!

I'm very pleased with this plumbing service. As a single mom, working at 2 places, the reliability and the perfect customer service are the 2 most important factors, when choosing a contractor. Here I've found both at the highest level. I recommend this company to anyone who needs professional services!

this gentleman was in and out with my hot water tank. he called and explained to me before showing up how to drain my old one to speed up the process. he even made his helper redo one of the solder joints because it was "ugly". takes great pride in his work!

Came quick. Very friendly and helpful

Service wise ok, not going to say professional but I have had better. Story. We are working on a pipeline and probed through a 1" Poly consumer line. Small 3/8" hole in line. Now mind you the plumber had to do NO shovel work. We had to entire thing excavated and ready to repair. They come out and I told I'm assuming Rick that it was 1 1/4" line. Turns out it was 1". They had to drive back to Greensburg 40 mins away and bring the right part. Ill accept that. Now his two plumbers where in the ditch for 10 mins for the fix. Repaired, I turned gas back on and we are good to go. Go to pay my bill and it was $950, for 4 hrs worth of work and no more then $100 in parts. 16" of 1" poly line and 2 couplers. So Im believe and this is my assumption that they put it to me due to me being with the gas company. However they did not know that the homeowner has to pay for it due to unmarked lines. This being said did they fix my problem. Yes. Did they screw me on price for sure. Be sure to get a cost estimate before Calling Rick Monz Plumbing

Great work and a great price

Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. This was the most unprofessional company I have EVER worked with. They literally went into my dirty clothes hamper, took a nice shirt out of it, and used it to wipe their hands on! It had wet pipe threading compound all over it, and they balled it up and put it back. I called when I noticed it and was told "Ill give you $30 for your $10 shirt." WHAT?!?!? Everything they had "fixed" was leaking minutes after they left. They couldn't provide an invoice to detail and show me where the charges came from. They left water everywhere, and cleaned nothing up before they left the house. I can't stress enough how absolutely TERRIBLE this company is. I could go on, but I will stop here. DO NOT USE!!!UPDATE: Upon leaving this review, Rick started harassing me via phone until I had to threaten to contact the police. I paid him $300 cash which was what my warranty company didn't cover. I owed him $295. He is now saying since I paid him in cash, there is no receipt of payment since he intentionally didn't fill out the invoice , and that he is going to lie and take me to court for non-payment. However, I had recorded the entire phone call because it started with him swearing, calling me curse words, etc. I can't even fathom how someone runs a business this way. It's absolutely disgusting. It's no wonder the BBB removed their credentials for him after so many bad experiences.

Very prompt and professional response. Called him for a leak I had and him and his crew came out that day to fix the problem. Was also very surprised by how low the bill was, as I had called other plumbers in the area to compare prices and they were all much higher. Thank you so much!

I would not recommend this company for appliance repair. My warranty company sent him out to fix my refrigerator. He came out within an hour of us submitting a claim, but that was the only positive.He took five minutes looking at the fridge (no tools, which at the time I was not concerned with). He said the compressor was bad and he's order a part that Monday (it was Saturday) and then call and confirm with us. He did not call so we called him later that week. He "thought he called us" but then confirmed he ordered the part and would contact us in the next week to schedule an appointment. Again, he did not call us. So we called him and for the next 3 weeks this game of phone tag continued. He would promise to call, then wouldn't, we'd call him and he'd say he didn't have the part and he'd call us in a couple days. Finally we called the warranty company who confirmed he received the part a week and a half before we called the warranty company. They then called him and he told them he would call that day and schedule an appointment for tomorrow. He did not call.So I called the warranty company back a couple days later. This time they called and scheduled the appointment for me and he arrived (later than promised) that day. After an hour he "installed" the compressor and told us that the part didn't do it, it needed refrigerant. He said he'd have his wife call the warranty company for a buy out. Once she did that later, she'd call us at 7 that night to confirm she did that. We called her at 9, and confirmed.The next day, however, another technician company called from our warranty company. The warranty company scheduled an appointment for that Monday (it was Thursday). I thought it odd, but figured the warranty company wanted a second opinion. New technician came in and spent 30 minutes testing the fridge. The new guy said that it was obvious that they didn't install anything because if they did they have had to add access tubes to add refrigerant since we have a Samsung which is a sealed system.So not only did Rick never contact us as promised, made us wait for a part for a month (nearly a month and a half) he also never actually installed the part. I would not recommend him to anyone after nearly a month and a half without a fridge.

I noticed there was a leak coming from my dishwasher. Rick found and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes. very polite and professional. he explain what has caused it and how to make sure it doesn't happen again.

We needed a plumber fast because our DIY kitchen faucet repair did not go well. Rick came out quickly and fixed it promptly, and his fee was very reasonable.
